I wanted a nautical grunge theme, I scanned in three slides taken in Venezuela about fifteen years ago and one taken in British Columbia. The 16 bit images were

converted to 32 bit in Photoshop CS3, then lighting effects were applied. The final was converted back to 16 bit for printing.
